I sold an Alhambra necklace from Van Cleef & Arpels

I received an Alhambra necklace from Van Cleef & Arpels as a present, but I almost never wore it and just stored it away. Over the years, Alhambra’s design became a little too cute to suit me anymore, so I thought to replace it with a Perlée instead and looked for a buyback shop for the first time. I am very satisfied because the purchase price was higher than I had expected. Now I can go to Van Cleef & Arpels to buy a new piece. Thank you so much!

I sold a pair of earrings from Van Cleef & Arpels!

I really liked a pair of earrings from Van Cleef & Arpels, but I decided to let go of it and try a different colour. I went round to multiple buyback stores, but there were some who even said that they did not accept Van Cleef & Arpels, so I almost gave up. I happened to pass by Jewel Cafe and when I went in to ask, they said could accept it and conducted an appraisal. Since the amount they offered was enough to cover the remaining cost of my next pair of earrings, I decided to sell it. I will come again if I have anything else to sell.

I managed to sell my Van Cleef & Arpels Alhambra necklaces!

love Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry and had quite a few pieces lying about the house, so I visited Jewel Cafe’s homepage and requested for an appraisal. I was worried as I had never sold anything like this before, but the appraiser attending to me was very kind, and carefully appraised my items, such that my mind was put at ease. It felt good to be praised for liking Van Cleef & Arpels. I was aware that the buyback price would be lower than the original value, but I am very satisfied because the amount was still higher than I expected! Thank you so much!!

I had my Alhambra watch appraised

I love Van Cleef & Arpels’ designs and wanted to sell some of my items in order to buy new ones. The female staff was very easy to talk to, and I was quite glad to hear that she herself owned a Van Cleef necklace. The appraisal was quick and the money was good, so I decided to sell. Now I can go and buy more Van Cleef pieces. Thank you!!

I sold my Van Cleef & Arpels earrings and necklace

I was able to sell my jewelry from Van Cleef & Arpels which I liked but had not really been able to wear. I thought it was a waste, so I went to a Jewel Cafe store nearby. The staff welcomed me cheerfully, and patiently l istened to me talk about my Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry. The purchase price was also very satisfactory! As it appears that they accept other brands apart from Van Cleef & Arpels, I think I will come again. Thank you so much!

I sold a pair of earrings from Van Cleef & Arpels

I sold a pair of earrings which I had bought from a Van Cleef & Arpels brand store. I didn’t think that used items could be sold for a good price, but I am very satisfied with the amount I received this time. I also have a ring and necklace from Van Cleef & Arpels. If I decide not the wear them anymore, I will definitely bring them to Jewel Cafe. Thank you to the store staff who attended to me so kindly!

I sold a Van Cleef & Arpels Alhambra bracelet

I sold a Van Cleef & Arpels Alhambra bracelet which I had purchased about 20 years ago. I loved the Alhambra design when I was young, but I think I can’t really wear Van Cleef & Arpels anymore, so I decided to sell it and buy another bracelet. It had been many years since I last went to a buyback shop so I wasn’t very familiar with the process, but the staff was a great help and carefully explained everything so that I could understand it easily.

I managed to sell an earring from Van Cleef & Arpels

I treated myself to a pair of earrings from Van Cleef & Arpels, which is a brand I like. But I lost one side of the earring and so I couldn’t wear it anymore. I called up to inquire about whether I could sell it, and was assured that they would accept even just one side of an earring, so I brought it in for an appraisal. I really loved that pair of earrings and was still in shock over what had happened, but the staff patiently listened to me as I talked about it for a long time. She said she had had a similar experience before and was able to empathize with me, so I was able to open up to her. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much for the purchase price, but it turned out to be quite reasonable and satisfactory. I’m not willing to let go of any of my other Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry, but if I find anything else to sell I will definitely bring it here.

Van Cleef & Arpels Ranking

Ranking
1st Place

Vintage Alhambra series

Van Cleef & Arpels has always been mainly creating top-level custom jewellery for royals and socialites, and it was not until 1968 that the more accessible Alhambra series of jewellery works was launched. The famous four-petal blade design of the Alhambra series works, some people say that it is derived from the design of Clover, and some people say that it comes from the architectural characteristics of the Alhambra Palace (Calat Alhambra, Granada, Spain). This series is a popular product that is easy to match regardless of age and clothing.

2nd Place

Sweet Alhambra series

Sweet Alhambra is a mini version of the original size of Vintage Alhambra. The reason why it was originally launched was to wear it for little girls or daughters, but because of the mini size, it is very popular with slender Asian women. Its elegant and sweet design is very popular with women in the 20s and 30s, and it is also a popular gift choice between couples.

3rd Place

Van Cleef & Arpels acquisition 3rd place

Van Cleef & Arpels always draws inspiration from the nature and ecology. Among them, butterflies have always been the favourite creative elements of the brand. The fluttering butterflies bring out the vitality of spring. The Two Butterfly series is a butterfly-themed product, which is usually paired with pearl shells and coloured diamonds to create a vibrant image of butterflies.

About Van Cleef & Arpels Purchase

Leave it to us to purchase your Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry! At the end of the 19th century, Estelle Arpels, the daughter of a jeweler, met Alfred Van Cleef, who was from a family of diamond merchants and jewelry craftsmen. They married in 1895. The two of them shared many things in common, including their enthusiasm, pioneering spirit, respect for family, and a passion for jewels. Estelle and Alfred had a dream to create “something that would last forever”. This ambition materialized into the birth of Maison Van Cleef & Arpels. In 1906, Alfred established the business in partnership with Estelle’s brother, Charles. Charles was a talented salesman, and he opened a new boutique at Vendome Square in Paris, France. Two years later, Julien Arpels joined the Maison as well, followed by Louis Arpels in 1912. In the years that followed, Van Cleef & Arpels rapidly grew to become a high jeweler of an exquisite class rarely seen anywhere in the world. The uniqueness of Van Cleef & Arpels’ jewelry lies in their extraordinary designs. Custom tailored to their customer’s requests, they have produced many jewelry pieces that are incredibly unique, intricate, and elegant as a result of their incomparable craftsmanship. In particular, their special technique known as “mystery setting” revolutionized jewelry setting methods across the globe. This “mystery setting” was first developed in the 1920’s and patented in 1933. This revolutionary technique which did not use any claws for setting the stone further showcased the jewel’s beauty, resulting in polished, three-dimensional jewelry unlike anything that had existed before. The beauty and high artistry of Van Cleef & Arpel’s pieces have since captivated the entire world. Their New York store was established in 1939, cementing their reputation as one of the finest, top-tier jewelers in the world. Jewel Cafe is on a campaign to strengthen our purchase of Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry. We are not only actively looking to purchase items that are still in good condition, but also pieces that show signs of use, so you are most welcome to bring them in for appraisal.
