What is Diamond 4C’s?

When you purchase a house, the common saying is ‘location, location, location’. But when you want to purchase a diamond, the saying is ‘4C, 4C, 4C’.

Sample GIA Certificate 1. Color
GIA’s diamond color-grading system measures the degree of colorlessness. The less colour, the higher the grade. The GIA diamond color grades range from D (colorless) to Z (light yellow or brown).2. Cut
Cut actually refers to the diamond facets’ ability to transmit light and sparkle so intensely, not the shape (round, oval etc).3. Clarity
Diamond clarity is the assessment of small imperfections on the surface and within the stone. However, it is important to keep in mind that diamonds are as unique as our fingerprints. Natural imperfections are inevitable.4. Carat
A diamond’s carat is the diamond’s weight, not its size. Also, bigger doesnt necessarily mean better. In fact, a high carat diamond with a poor cut may look smaller than a diamond with a smaller carat and a very good cut.Diamonds typically resell for 25% to 50% of the purchase price. But even less if your diamond does not come with a certificate.
Jewel Cafe Accepts Diamond Jewelry
We can accept round brilliant cut diamonds that are 0.3 carats and above without a GIA certificate and only 0.2 carats with a GIA certificate.
We can offer instant cash for your diamond jewelry, with or without a certificate at the best price!
If you also have any old gold, white gold, platinum or even silver come on by to Jewel Cafe and get instant cash for your items!

- What You Need to Know When Buying White Gold | White Gold Cash Buyer KL February 23, 2021
-
Hello ladies and gentlemen,
Do you own any white gold jewelry? Curious about the resell value for your item? If you are interested, here we will be sharing about white gold and its resell value.
White Gold Jewelries
White gold is commonly paired with diamond. This is because, with a yellow gold ring, the metal can tend to reflect a yellow tint onto the diamond, even if it is a colorless or nearly colorless stone. Therefore, many jewelers will use white gold as the diamond will look brighter and more colorless as a result.

White Gold Resale Value
White gold has a lower resale value than yellow gold, but why?
This is because white gold gets its distinctive “white” colour from the mixture of pure gold with alloy. The reason white gold has lower resale value than yellow gold is because alloy cost less but it also means the purity (karat) of your gold jewelry is diluted. However, the amount of alloy used does mean the item is more durable and scratch-resistant.

Resale value for jewelry will depend on the amount of pure gold in each item. Therefore jewelry with higher amount of pure gold will be sold at a higher value.
For white gold jewelry, buy it if you love it and can afford it, but not for investment.
Types of White Gold
Most commonly you can find the karat for white gold is K18 (750) and K9 (375).
This means that only 75% for K18 and 37.5% for K9 of pure gold is used. Therefore, it is common for its purity to be lower.

Jewel Cafe Can Accept ANY Types of Gold
If you have any old gold, white gold, or even platinum come on by to Jewel Cafe and get instant cash for your items!
We can accepted old, broken, even small pieces of jewelry without receipt.

We can accept any gold grade/carat such as K24 (999.9/999), K22 (916), K18 (750), K14 (585), K9 (375).

Service and Estimation
The price of your item will be estimated based on the purity, density, depreciation, condition and etc. The estimation will take around 10 to 15 minutes (varies with total number of items).
While you are waiting, we will serve complimentary beverages and snacks. We also provide a play area for those that come with children.

- What Brand of Luxury Watches Holds Value | Cash Buyer Used Branded Items KL February 22, 2021
-

Some say “watches are great investments” and that they hold their value well however the truth is, it’s not that simple.
Oddly enough, some watches are just like cars. Watches tend to depreciate most rapidly once they are taken from the store and sold on the secondhand market. Worn or not, once sold considered used.
What Brand of Watches Holds Value
Now, it’s really difficult to mention brands when talking about which brands and watches hold their value best because the truth is that it depends on various factors, such as model, condition, demand, etc.
Something to keep in mind is what actually affects the watch’s resale value. The answer is of course demand on the secondhand market, but also the prestige and reputation, and how people view the brand.
![AUDEMARS PIGUET Royal Oak Frosted Gold Chrono 26331BC.GG.1224BC.02 Unused K18WG Solid Men's Watch Automatic Blue [Used] [Products for over-the-counter receipt]](https://tshop.r10s.jp/mycollection/cabinet/item20210203/2405002881585-1.jpg?fitin=480:480)
Below are some brands that watches tend to hold their value quite well on the secondhand market:
- Rolex
- Patek Philippe
- Audemars Piguet
- Vacheron Constantin
However, since the watch market is ever-changing, what may be the reality today may not be the same truth tomorrow.
If there’s no demand for a particular watch brand on the secondhand market, then naturally the price you’ll be able to sell it for will be significantly lower than the retail price.
Material Can Effects Resale Value
![Rolex ROLEX Datejust 69178G K18YG solid genuine diamond OH finished 86th ladies watch self-winding gold [used] [product for over-the-counter receipt]](https://tshop.r10s.jp/mycollection/cabinet/item20210209/2405002872552-1.jpg?fitin=480:480)
When buying luxury watches, it is not uncommon to find some models designed using gold, gems, or jewels. This of course adds to the cost of your watch when purchasing. However, it may come as a surprise but a stainless-steel watch can actually cost more than a full-gold one.
This is because the demand for stainless steel watches is much higher than the demand for gold or two-tone watches. Watches in steel also tend to hold their value much better than those of gold due to gold watches have a higher retail price, and the demand for them is thus not as high on the secondhand market as fewer people can afford them.
But also, because people prefer steel over gold. This also generally goes for watches with diamonds.
Other Factors
A watch’s condition that is brand new will obviously be worth more than a watch that is scratched up and worn frequently.
Age is something that also affects a watch’s value, especially if it is the age where the warranty is about to, or has just run out. The older the watch, the more important servicing the watch becomes. If you have a 10 years old watch but have never sent it to service, this can also affect the price on the secondhand market.
Also, the box and papers are also quite important for a watch’s value. Finally, if you have adjusted the bracelet, the extra parts can also affect the resale price.

Brands that don’t hold their value as well as Rolex, such as brands like Breitling, Tag Heuer, and Oris, tend to lose between 40-50%, even up to 60-70% during this pandemic.
How much a watch can depreciate will depend on a number of things but mainly it is demand. A particular watch from a brand whose watches don’t generally hold its value may hold its value extremely well if the demand for it is there.

- Why Tag Heuer Aqua Racer So Popular | Sell Used Branded Watch For Cash KL February 14, 2021
-
Thank you for visiting the blog of Jewel Cafe Taman Maluri, located inside AEON Taman Maluri, Cheras. This time, we would like to share about one of the items we can buy from you for cash, Tag Heuer watch.

Tag Heuer Aqua Racer
Founded by Edouard Heuer in 1860, Tag Heuer is a company that is constantly innovating. Its exceptional quality of watches and chronographs is what sets Tag Heuer apart from other brands. Its rugged yet sophisticated designs give owners confidence and joy while wearing it. It is a watch that is suitable for daily wear, formal or casual. Some of the popular Tag Heuer models include ‘Aqua Racer’, ‘Grand Carrera’, and ‘Monaco’.

The most popular Tag Heuer carry-on is of course the Aqua Racer. The main reason why the Aqua Racer is its versatility in look and feel, with its case made of satin or polished steel, its ceramic bezel, dial and strap made of steel. It features a sapphire crystal, green and blue luminous paint, hand-typeset polished finish, and faceted indexes. Aqua Racer also comes in both quartz and automatic movement.

It comes to no surprise that its sleek and versatile design makes Aqua Racer the most popular model from Tag Heuer. Its versatility also means the price range for this beauty is pretty affordable, considering. The quartz movement can range around a few thousand, lower for ladies. The automatic movement will cost you a bit more, but its definitely worth it on the long run.

- Diamond is a girl’s best friend, but is it your wallet? February 13, 2021
-

These days, more and more people are becoming smart buyers especially when it comes to valuables such as gold and diamonds. Most of us care about how much we may be able to get if we ever need to sell it in the future. Unfortunately, unlike gold, diamonds’ resale value is low.
The reality is, most diamonds will decline in value over time. Immediately after you have made your purchase and leave the store, the ring is now worth 50% less than what you paid for barely a few minutes ago. Just like when you drive a newly purchased car off the lot, the value will dramatically drop the very second you walk out of the store.
Why is Diamond Resale Value So Low?
One of the factors that affect diamonds’ resale value is the retail mark-up. Jewelry retailers, like those in most other industries, buy their products at wholesale and sell them at marked-up prices – some a lot more than others.
Unfortunately, this means that the resale value of the diamond will be much lower than what it was purchased for.
According to Business Insider, jewellers often place 100% to 200% mark-ups on their diamond jewellery. Jewellers set these high mark-ups to cover slow-moving inventory, operating costs and of course profit. This is also the reason why jewelry shops can offer high discounts for diamond items.

As a result of the retail mark-up and the decline in diamond prices, the resale value is typically well below what you paid. Indeed, diamond jewelry will typically resell for 25% to 50% of the purchase price. And even less if your diamond does not come with a certificate.
Certificates plays a big role in determining the resale value of your diamond, specifically GIA certificate. Even when you purchase a non-certified diamond it is more likely less expensive than one that is certified. This is because a certified diamond comes with the cost of the certification.
4C’S OF DIAMOND

GIA certificates will not only states the serial number of your diamond, but more importantly the 4C’s. The 4Cs is the universal method for assessing the quality of any diamond, anywhere in the world. Every diamond that comes with a certificate will state the diamond’s 4C’s. But what is the 4C’s? Here is the rundown.
However, it is impotant to keep in mind that diamonds are as unique as our fingerprints. Natural imperfections are inevitable.4. Carat

-
Hello everyone ★
Thank you for visiting our blog.
Today I will be sharing about a Rolex Submariner that was recently sold to our shop for CASH.

This Rolex Submariner (Ref 16610) is an updated version from the 1880’s model. Some of the upgrades include a unidirectional bezel, trip-lock crown, and of course, an engine upgrade. The Caliber 3135 can still be found on some current versions of the Submariner Date.
How to sell ROLEX at a high price?

★ Accessories (boxes, extra bracelets, warranty cards, etc.)
If you still have these accessories, please bring them as it may lead to an increase in price for your item.
★ Overhaul
Is your watch regularly maintained? For some older watches that have not been maintained might have some rusting or engine problems.

Is your watch in good condition? Are there any scratches or problems with the bracelet? These imperfections might also effect the resale value of your item.

- Resell Diamond Jewelry, What You Need to Know Before Selling Your Diamond | Sell Diamond Ring Instant Cash KL January 30, 2021
-
These days, more and more people are becoming smart buyers especially when it comes to valuables such as gold and diamonds. Most of us care about how much we may be able to get if we ever need to sell it in the future. Unfortunately, unlike gold, diamonds’ resale value is low.
The popular misconception about diamonds is that it is a good investment and will increase in value over time. But this has not been true for the majority of diamonds over the last 10 years.

Anyone who has walked into a jewellery store can confirm the high prices of diamond jewellery. According to Business Insider, jewellers often place 100% to 200% mark-ups on their diamond jewellery. Jewellers set these high mark-ups to cover slow-moving inventory, operating costs and of course profit. This is also the reason why jewelry shops can offer plenty of discounts for diamond items during special sales.
As a result of the retail mark-up and the decline in diamond prices, the resale value is typically well below what you paid. Indeed, diamond jewelry will typically resell for 25% to 50% of the purchase price. And even less if your diamond does not come with a certificate.

Nonetheless, you will be able to get some money back if you decide to sell your diamond ring or other diamond jewelry. However, you’ll almost always lose money when you sell your diamond. Because of the markup prices, most jewelers, pawn shops and other buyers can only offer a fraction of what you paid for your diamond if you sell
As we’ve mentioned above, you won’t get back what you paid for your ring, even if it’s in flawless condition. Be realistic about pricing from the beginning and be prepared to deal with selling at a loss.

- 3 Easy Ways to Test Real Gold at Home | Sell Old Unwanted Gold for Cash KL January 22, 2021
-
Gold has a unique physical and chemical property. To the untrained eye, all types of gold look the same. So, when it comes to gold bullion or jewelry, knowledge is power!
It is always advised to check your gold with a professional. However, there are a few easy ways to test if your expensive jewelry is made from real gold. Below are some simple tests you can do at home.
Keep in mind that these tests cannot replace the opinion of a professional, and are not designed to measure the quality or content of gold in a certain piece of jewelry.
1. Smell test

While this test is far from being the most reliable way to tell real gold from fake gold, it’s one of the easiest and quickest to do. Just rub your hands together with your jewelry between them and take a sniff. If it does not smell like anything in particular, then your jewelry has passed the test. But if your smell any hints of metallic scent, then it’s quite likely you’re dealing with fake gold.
2. Hallmark (Stamp test)
It is mandatory for all gold items to have a hallmark or ‘stamping’ on the item. These stampings must include the items’ purity in Karats (example in the photo). Some jewelers might also include the manufacturer’s stamp on the item. On necklaces and bracelets, these jewelry hallmarks can be found on or near the clasp. For rings, these are usually found somewhere on the inside surface. However, there are exceptions for old gold or custom order jewelry. It is not uncommon for these items to not have stamping.
3. Magnet test

To test if your jewelry is plated or not, simply touch it with the magnet. Pure gold will not be attracted to the magnet. If the jewelry gets attracted to the magnet (even if just a little), then at least part of it is not gold. Gold chains and some bracelets commonly have a “clasp” lock, and you may find that only the clasp bit sticks to the magnet. This is because there is a spring inside the clasp mechanism as gold does not make good springs.

- Louis Vuitton Leather Patterns | Sell Second Hand LV Bags Instant Cash KL January 12, 2021
-
There’s nothing like the feeling of getting your first Louis Vuitton! Over decades, there have been so many exciting variations of LV monograms, prints and leathers. Below are some fascinating history behind some of the brand’s most iconic patterns.
The History Behind Your Favorite Louis Vuitton Bags
The print Damier Ebene / Azur, which literally translates to “checkerboard” in English, was created in 1888. The two most popular versions of this print are the Ebene, a combination of two shades of brown or graphite, and Azur, a blue-grey base with a checkered white overlay

Louis Vuitton Papillon GM Damier
Louis Vuitton Clemence Wallet Damier Azur Easily the world’s most recognizable fashion print, the Monogram Canvas is a true Louis Vuitton classic. The Monogram was first created by Louis’ son, George in 1896 to stop counterfeiters from mimicking the brand’s designs. The unique pattern is made up of interlocking L and V initials and flowers inspired by Japanese and Oriental designs.
(yup, they had fake LV even back then )

Louis Vuitton Speedy 35 Monogram Georges Vuitton and his son first had the idea for Epi leather in 1920. The concept was to print a design on a more resistant fabric. Inspired by a grained leather that Louis Vuitton first used in trunks, the Epi leather is probably the most identifiable Louis Vuitton material after Monogram and Damier canvases.

Louis Vuitton Pont Neuf Epi Epi ‘s durability and ability to withstand any weather condition makes the perfect bag to have in this every changing weather.
