No idea with it and don’t know how the calculation of selling and buying ? Let’s us share about it.

Buying price of gold

Let’s say the buying price of 916 is RM270 per gram. Item you choose is 10.00gram. It is calculated by RM270 x 10.00grams = RM2,700.00. After calculated the item cost, you have to add up another workmanship fee (upah). Let’s say the workmanship fee is RM150. So you have to pay RM2,700 + RM150 (workmanship) = RM2,850. Your item is actually RM285 per gram.

Selling price for gold

There are two (2) options to sell your gold which is trade in or cash. Most of the gold smith shop will only allow you trade in your items. It means that you are only allowed to exchange your item with their items. Of course, it’s not as easy as you think. It doesn’t mean that, just change a brand new design item without paying. NO! NO! NO! Usually there is a depreciation about 25-30% for trade in concept.

For example your item is 10.00gram, and you are looking for 12.5 gram item which selling price is RM270 per gram. Your old item is RM2,700 – 30% = RM1,890. At this moment, you will ask WHY calculate it by RM2,700 but not RM2,850 which the amount purchased previously. It’s because WORKMANSHIP no longer included during you sell your item! While the new item which you going to exchange is RM2,850 + RM150 (workmanship) = RM3,000.

So end up the old item is just cost RM1,890 for trade in and new item total price is RM3,000. You have to pay another RM1,110. This is how we calculate the trade in price for old item and how much to pay for the new item.

How about the selling price of gold for CASH?

This is the most interesting part. Many of us think that, we can earn money from keeping gold. So we will buy many gold to keep and sell when the selling price goes up. But yes, you can earn money if you keep your gold about more than 15 years, 20 years or even more. If you want to resell it for cash, of course there will be higher depreciation compared to trade in. It depends on the shop rules and regulations. Some of the shops deduct 40 – 50%, and some even more. All of the shops might differ of the percentage of deduction. 2. Leather cleaner or water and mild soap
3. Leather moisturize

How to clean leather item

Cleaning a leather isn’t as hard as it may seem. Basic cleaning methods are easy, can be done at home, and can prevent challenging stains. Read the following tips to learn how to give a leather a basic cleaning.

1. Wipe the stain off with a clean, damp cloth. Keep rubbing the area until it is damp, but not soaked through.
2. Apply some cleaning solution to the soft cloth. You can use a store-bought leather bag cleaner, which often comes in a kit. You can also make your own by mixing a few drops of a mild soap (such as unscented dish-washing soap or baby soap) with distilled water.
3. Wipe the stained area again with the soft cloth until the stain is gone. Try to keep your stroking motions in line with the leather’s grain. This will help protect the integrity of the leather.
4. Use a clean, dry cloth to wipe off any soap residue or excess moisture. Don’t worry about drying the bag just yet.
5. Let the bag dry for about 30 minutes. Avoid speeding the process up with a hairdryer. If you are in a hurry, consider setting the bag down in front of a fan. Cool air will be less damaging to the bag than hot.

Rolex wristwatches are built to be waterproof, while forged versions will not withstand a proper water test. However, we strongly discourage using a water test if you doubt that the piece is real since it will likely ruin the watch, preventing you from being able to return it. If you believe you have a non-genuine timepiece have it inspected by a reputable professional.

A genuine Rolex will have some weight to it since they are exclusively manufactured from the finest materials. A counterfeit watch will feel lighter and flimsy due to cheaper construction materials.  If your watch doesn’t have any heft to it you’re likely dealing with a fake.

With the exception of a couple of very rare vintage models produced in the 1930s, Rolex does not equip their watches with clear case backs, so beware of replica watches that have a clear window with a view of the movement on the back of the watch’s case.

Except for just a few rare instances, like the vintage Rolex Sea Dweller, COMEX, Military watches and some older rare models, Rolex does not engrave (a majority of the time) the exterior of their case backs with words, logos, or pictures. If the watches you’re looking at features engravings on the back of the watch’s case, then chances are you have a fake Rolex or imitation replica watch. In addition, some authentic older lady Rolex Datejust models like the 6917, 69173 and 69174 have “Stainless Steel” and “Registered Design” on the back.

10. Micro Etched Crystal

In 2002, Rolex began micro-etching a tiny crown logo at the 6 o’clock position on the crystal that protects the dial. If you’re looking at buying a Rolex made in 2002 onward, look for this marking for proof of authenticity. Since it’s so small, it is difficult to see with the naked eye.  This detail also makes it difficult for counterfeit watches to include.

When counterfeiters try to mimic classic models like the SPEEDMASTER or the SEAMASTER, they try to buy into the brand’s image of endurance, even going so far as to emulate tiny details that the average consumer wouldn’t notice.

To protect yourself from falling for a fake Omega watch scam, follow this guide we’ve put together to distinguishing a real Omega from a counterfeit.

1. The Dial

Before anything else, closely examine the dial and make sure that everything is spelled correctly, evenly spaced and cleanly applied. The easiest way to determine if any watch is fake is by spotting any spelling or engraving mistakes. On an authentic Omega, the Omega logo should be a separate piece of metal that is attached to the dial. If it is painted on, you’re looking at a fake.

The Hands

Omega, like most luxury brands, outfits its watches with Swiss movements, which makes the motion of the second hand smooth and fluid and removes the ticking sound that quartz watches have. If your Omega ticks or has a second hand that stutters along inside the watch, it’s probably a fake.

You should also test out the adjustment capabilities of the crown. When you pull it up to adjust the time, the second hand on the Omega should stop as well to ensure the accuracy of the time. A fake Omega will have a second hand that continues to move even when you’re adjusting the time.

The Lumes.

To add to their functionality, Omega watches are equipped with lumes, or reflective surfaces that glow in the dark. The hands, the markers, and a dot on the rotating bezel will all glow in the dark once they have been charged. An inauthentic Omega watch might still have lumes, but the quality of their glow will be abysmal compared to an original. To test their luminescence, put the watch under a bright light to charge for at least 15 seconds, then turn off the light. The glow from the watch should be bright and even and should last for a relatively long time.

The Date Complication.

Counterfeiters generally have a hard time replicating the date windows of genuine luxury watches because each brand uses a different kind of cyclops, or date magnification lens, with different levels of magnification. When examining a watch that purports to be an Omega, check to make sure that the date is centered perfectly in the window and the numbers evenly cover the whole space.

Every Omega is stamped with a seven- or eight-digit serial number that is unique to that specific watch. You can look up this serial number and make sure that the watch it refers to exactly matches the model you’re examinin- otherwise, it’s a counterfeit. Make sure that the serial number is in the right place as well, on authentic vintage models, it will be engraved on the inside of the case back, but modern models will have it engraved on the bottom of one of the lugs.

The Omega Seamaster is one of the most popularly counterfeited Omega models, and it is also one of the brand’s most detailed and functional watches. This model is built to be water-resistant up to 50 meters and, for diving purposes, includes a helium escape valve. Because forgers tend to forgo many of a watch’s extraneous functions to save on production costs, the helium escape valve on a counterfeited Omega will not work, if the watch even has one at all. Also, make sure to check that the valve is in the correct position. The bottom of the valve should just hit the 10 o’clock position on a genuine Omega Seamaster watch. You probably have a fake if the middle or the top of the valve are in line with 10 o’clock.

Something else to consider is that the majority of the brands watches have mechanical movements, so if you’re looking at a quartz, that could be a red flag since only a very limited quantity of quartz watches throughout their history have been produced.

4. Dial

The dial of an original is perfect, so if you see any uneven fonts, inconsistent spaces between the lettering, smudges, and/or misspellings on the watch then it’s unquestionably a fake.

5. Cyclops

.

The Cyclops, in Rolex parlance, is the magnifying lens above the date window on the face of their watches. On a genuine timepiece, the Cyclops is convex and magnifies the date 2.5 times for ease of readability. If, on the watch you’re considering, the magnification lens is flat and the date isn’t magnified as such, then you’re dealing with a forgery.  To spot counterfeit watches you need to pay close attention to every detail.

Letters on the logo basically are sharper than fake ones and engraving is also super clean even on tiny words, everything is neat.  The stitching on the logo also not the double-back. Obviously, the fake Prada also missing the iconic curve on the letter “R”.

Stitching

The authentic ones were stitched at an angle while the fake ones were stitched straight. Which means, authentic Prada stitching is perfect. Be careful with the well-copied Prada where the stitching looks neat, but you can focus on the stitching quality (thread used & stitching angle).

Bottom feet studs

Some of the Prada bag model do not have the bottom feet studs, so kindly observe the features of the bag from catalog. If you can see from picture below, the Prada words on the authentic bag is using the same font even it’s tiny and of course the words also clean and precise.

Prada Saffiano Leather

Saffiano is made from the highest quality of calf leather and the cross hatch print has been pressed on the wax that coats the leather. Even the fake ones were using the real calf leather but still the Saffiano cross hatch cannot be replicated (cross hatch is bigger and not detailed).

Always check for the curve in the letter “R”. Well-made fake, it’s hard to tell the difference but take a closer look where the printing on the authentic one is perfect & precise. Some of the fake card will look slightly grey.

THE ORIGIN OF THE PHRASE.

“Superlative chronometer officially certified”
Historically, a watch could be designated as a chronometer by its own manufacturer to attest of its high precision, a process which obviously carried a risk of fraudulent abuse. To guarantee the quality of its chronometers, Rolex made the choice to have them officially certified, in spite of the costs and extra time required. To mark this difference, in the late 1930s, the brand changed the inscription on its dials from “Chronometer” to “Officially Certified Chronometer”. In 1951, official certification became obligatory. Rolex decided to differentiate itself by obtaining certificates avec mention (certificates of superior performance). According to the old rules, movements whose precision proved superior in the tests received a certificate with the citation “particularly good results”. By the late 1950’s, Rolex launched a new generation of movements which were up to three times more precise than the criteria for obtaining a mention.

Let us share with you how to store your leather handbags at home. Before that, let us understand the fabric first.

Leather is made of animal hide, which is generally sourced from cattle and then tanned to make it flexible or durable. To color leather, an aniline-dye is used, which gets saturated into pigments on the skin while retaining the natural grain. Full grain leather is considered to be of the highest quality.

Things you need to keep your leather bag in a best condition:

1. Leather cleaner
2. Leather conditioner
3. Bubble wrap
4. Tissue paper
5. Soft cotton cloth
6. Dust bag
7. Pillow case

Tips; how to to store your leather handbag at home?

1. Keep in dust cover or old pillowcase. Do not sealed your leather handbag in a plastic bag or container as it made of living hide so let them breathe too. 
2. Fill the bag with butter paper or bubble wrap to maintain he shape. Avoid using the newspaper as may not retain the original shape after expansion. 
3. Put silica gel inside the bag to avoid the bag from dampening.
4. Keep leather bag outside at least once for every two weeks so some air can pass in to prevent any growth of mold. 
5. If it have a chain handle, put the handle inside the bag or use bubble wrap to cover the chain so can prevent any scratches outside during the storage period.

Tips for prevention

1. Prevent our leather bag from getting dirty at the first place. So, keep it on a clean place and always handle with clean hands. 
2. Avoid keeping the leather bag near the extreme temperature. 
3. Avoid keeping on the concrete floor to prevent from fungus.

Absorb as much water as possible with microfiber hand towel if water spills on your leather bag and always let it dry normally at the room temperature. Speed drying will cause the change in the chemical structure of leather.
