K18 gold contains 75% gold and 25% alloy. It can be seen with the number 750 or K18 hallmark on the ring or other jewelry. This ring no hallmark but it is K18 based on the density come out 18 and the acid test. K18 very expensive and easy to scratch but it lower market price when we want to sell it back. Its more expensive when its attach with the diamond. But for this ring do not attach with diamond but the stone only. K18 gold was produced in three different colors, which is white gold, yellow gold and rose gold. Each color has a different chemical composition, with different metals used in different quantities to give each color its unique appearance. For this ring, the color is yellow gold. Today I bought a K18 ring. A Chinese man came alone brought a ring for estimation. This ring no seal but based on the color we can consider as K18 after I done the acid test and density. He was very nice person and he want to sell it to top-up his operation cost. As usual I invited him to sit at café space while I checked his item. He also shared with me that pawn shop can offered him this ring with RM900 but he needs to take back his ring in 6 month plus the interest. So he decided to sell here at Jewel Café.
