If a gold product contains the hallmark '375', that means your gold is K9 – or 37.5 per cent pure. The remaining 62.5 per cent of the product is an alloy of different metals, like nickel, copper, or in some cases silver. "750" means "18-karat gold". "585" means "14K gold". "417" means "10K gold". K9 gold is tough enough to survive a lifetime of wear - but K18 gold is better suited to heirloom pieces chosen with future generations in mind. Whilst K9 gold is technically 'harder' than K18 gold, scoring higher on the Mohs Scale of Hardness, this doesn't mean it's more resilient in the long-term.
We have female staff with a vast amount of product knowledge and a speedy assessment process that takes as little as 10 minutes from the time you come to the store to payment! If you are interested in a quick assessment and consultation, we recommend visiting our store!

Today I managed to bought a few white gold items from customer. All these items are unwanted jewelries and he bought it long time ago. The receipt already gone. Because Chinese New Year just around the corner, he doing spring cleaning and found a few white gold jewelries and decided to sell it rather than keep it. He also excited after we do some sharing regarding white gold grades. His items got K18 and K9 grades. Although his items ony lightweight but he is very happy at least he got some money from this transaction.
