24 karat(K24) or 999.9 gold is the purest form of gold. Chemical formula is Au. In its purest form, it is a bright, slightly reddish yellow, dense, soft, malleable and ductile metal. If the purest gold which is 24 carat gold, it should come out 24 at the machine. Then, lastly we can test with nitric acid test. When we scratch 24 carat gold in the stone and put a drop of nitric acid on it, the color of the pure gold will remain and not disappear.
