Gold ingot is a quantity of refined metallic gold of any shape that is made by a bar producer meeting standard conditions of manufacture, labeling, and record keeping. Larger gold bars that are produced by pouring the molten into molds are called ingot.
Usually the purity of gold ingot is 999.9 % which means gold ingot is the finest gold.
In Malaysia, we also have 916 gold ingot and the purity of gold is 91.6%.
There are variety of weight for gold ingot. From 1g until 1000g or more.
