Chin Gam, or commonly known as K19 grade of gold in China, has 79.17% of gold. This Chin Gam gold can be recognized based on the Chinese seal at the gold itself, but sometimes when the seal is not clear, it can be determined based on the color of the gold itself which is more to K22. It can sometimes be recognized based on the density reading on hydrometer machine. The gold that this customer brought has weight almost 20 grams. All the gold has good density reading, and all passed magnet and acid test.

This lady walk in to our café today. She is our repeat customer who always brought old gold. Today she brought Chin Gam bracelet and ring to sell. Both were old design with Chinese character at the ring. She said both golds were from her great grandmother and the age of both were almost 30 years old. Both density reading was very nice, because normally, gold with Chinese seal is solid type. As usual, this lady wanted to claim her member benefit and the total amount added was RM150.
