The bangles that customer brought today are 999.9 mix with 950 grades. This is because pure 999.9 gold is very soft and can easily bent, so in order to make the bangles sturdy, the jeweler mixed it with other grade of gold. Usually for Chinese dowry, they will used 999.9 grade for making bangles, and mixed with 950 grades to hold the design. The density for this mixed gold will come out lower than 999.9 density should be, and it is usually because of the design and the mixture of another grade. But still, the gold is pure.

Hello everyone. Today I purchased two bangles grade 999.9. This very nice lady came alone and bring this pair of bangles to survey the price. This lady is our repeat customer. Before this she sold white gold to us. This time, the bangles she brought is the dowry she got from her husband. Both of these bangles design is same, and is very light. Since the grade is 999.9, the bangles are easy to bent and cannot be used for daily routine as it can be broken. Only the outer edges quite hard since it used different grade of gold, which is 950. She felt that it is such a waste if she still keep it, so she decide to sell.
