White gold is usually an alloy containing about 75% gold and about 25% nickel and zinc. If the engraved is 18K and AU750, it would be 75% pure gold. White gold doesn't occur naturally, it gets its silvery hue by being alloyed with white metals such as silver, nickel, manganese, platinum, or palladium. For a shiny finish, white gold is usually coated in rhodium plating that must be replaced periodically to prevent the white gold from reverting back to yellow.

Points for purchase / assessment
A Chinese guy came alone to our store Jewel Cafe. He brought only one item to get an estimation. At first, he thought his item is silver but we told him it is a 750 white gold with melee diamonds. We also explained to him that we didn't quote a price for diamonds that were below 0.3carat without a GIA certificate. He decided to sell his gold item and asked for the diamonds back in return and we took it off without damaging the diamonds. He's delighted to come over again to Jewel Cafe Taman Maluri.
