Letters on the logo basically are sharper than fake ones and engraving is also super clean even on tiny words, everything is neat.  The stitching on the logo also not the double-back. Obviously, the fake Prada also missing the iconic curve on the letter “R”. 

Stitching

The authentic ones were stitched at an angle while the fake ones were stitched straight. Which means, authentic Prada stitching is perfect. Be careful with the well-copied Prada where the stitching looks neat, but you can focus on the stitching quality (thread used & stitching angle). 

Bottom feet studs

Some of the Prada bag model do not have the bottom feet studs, so kindly observe the features of the bag from catalog. If you can see from picture below, the Prada words on the authentic bag is using the same font even it’s tiny and of course the words also clean and precise. 

Prada Saffiano leather

Saffiano is made from the highest quality of calf leather and the cross hatch print has been pressed on the wax that coats the leather. Even the fake ones were using the real calf leather but still the Saffiano cross hatch cannot be replicated (cross hatch is bigger and not detailed).

Prada Authenticity Card

Always check for the curve in the letter “R”. Well-made fake, it’s hard to tell the difference but take a closer look where the printing on the authentic one is perfect & precise. Some of the fake card will look slightly grey.

6. Waterproof

However, we strongly discourage using a water test if you doubt that the piece is real since it will likely ruin the watch, preventing you from being able to return it. If you believe you have a non-genuine timepiece have it inspected by a reputable professional.

7. Weight

A genuine Rolex will have some weight to it since they are exclusively manufactured from the finest materials. A counterfeit watch will feel lighter and flimsy due to cheaper construction materials.  If your watch doesn’t have any heft to it you’re likely dealing with a fake.

With the exception of a couple of very rare vintage models produced in the 1930s, Rolex does not equip their watches with clear case backs, so beware of replica watches that have a clear window with a view of the movement on the back of the watch’s case.

9. Case back Engravings

In addition, some authentic older lady Rolex Datejust models like the 6917, 69173 and 69174 have “Stainless Steel” and “Registered Design” on the back.

10. Micro-etched Crystal

In 2002, Rolex began micro-etching a tiny crown logo at the 6 o’clock position on the crystal that protects the dial. If you’re looking at buying a Rolex made in 2002 onward, look for this marking for proof of authenticity. Since it’s so small, it is difficult to see with the naked eye.  This detail also makes it difficult for counterfeit watches to include.

4. Dial

5. Cyclops

On a genuine timepiece, the Cyclops is convex and magnifies the date 2.5 times for ease of readability. If, on the watch you’re considering, the magnification lens is flat and the date isn’t magnified as such, then you’re dealing with a forgery.  To spot counterfeit watches you need to pay close attention to every detail.

Things that you will need for leather cleaning is:

2. Leather cleaner or water and mild soap
3. Leather moisturize

Cleaning leather

Cleaning a leather isn’t as hard as it may seem. Basic cleaning methods are easy, can be done at home, and can prevent challenging stains. Read the following tips to learn how to give a leather a basic cleaning.

1. Wipe the stain off with a clean, damp cloth. Keep rubbing the area until it is damp, but not soaked through.
2. Apply some cleaning solution to the soft cloth. You can use a store-bought leather bag cleaner, which often comes in a kit. You can also make your own by mixing a few drops of a mild soap (such as unscented dish-washing soap or baby soap) with distilled water.
3. Wipe the stained area again with the soft cloth until the stain is gone. Try to keep your stroking motions in line with the leather’s grain. This will help protect the integrity of the leather.
4. Use a clean, dry cloth to wipe off any soap residue or excess moisture. Don’t worry about drying the bag just yet.
5. Let the bag dry for about 30 minutes. Avoid speeding the process up with a hairdryer. If you are in a hurry, consider setting the bag down in front of a fan. Cool air will be less damaging to the bag than hot.
6. Apply some leather moisturizer to the bag once it is dry. Use a soft cloth to apply the moisturizer. Rub the moisturizer on using  circular motions. The moisturizer will help keep the leather soft and supple. Do not substitute regular hand lotion, which can stain and degrade leather.
7. Consider buffing the leather with a dry cloth. This will help restore the texture and shine to the bag.
