Many people are unaware of the CinGam(钱金) seal for gold. CinGam(钱金) seal is usually used in China and Hong Kong area and the purity of this gold is K19. The K19 gold only contains 79% gold and is mixed with another metal for its malleability. CinGam(钱金) or K19 is commonly used for intricate designs or hollow jewelry. Most goldsmiths and even pawn shops do not take in CinGam(钱金) due to its low gold purity and has lower resale value than 916.

These items were brought in by a very kind old lady. She was 82 years old and still up and about. It was inspirational to see. She shared with us that she had kept all these broken jewelry since she was in her 20s. She knew it was not 916, as you can see from the color. So she was happy to hear that we can buy her items for instant cash despite the low grade and items being broken.
