The Central Bank of Malaysia produced gold coins as a remembrance of the 25th anniversary of The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) on October 18th 1976. The gold coins were produced in three denomination and one of them was 250 Ringgit gold. There are only about 7,700 pieces of 250 Ringgit gold were made at that time.

A Malay man came to see us bringing a gold coin which was gifted from his uncle. He tried to sell it online for months but unsuccessful. So he decided to sell it to us.
