This piece was just over 1g and was a K18 grade. K18 or also known as 750 only contains 75% pure gold and the other 25% is a mixture of other precious metals to get its iconic white shine. However, K18 is typically more expensive to buy (/g) due to its high design and labor fee due to its low malleability. That is why most gold smiths don't accept white gold for cashback, and most certainly do not accept broken white gold. However, Jewel Cafe can accept ALL types of gold broken or not for instant cash.
