Kuala Lumpur, 19 October 2026 — Jewel Cafe continued its commitment to giving back to the community with a meaningful CSR visit to Tender Hearts KL, an organisation dedicated to helping youths with special needs build confidence, develop life skills, and grow towards greater independence.
During the heartwarming visit, the Jewel Cafe team participated in cookie-making and lunch preparation alongside the youths. Beyond these activities, the team had the opportunity to connect with the youths and their parents, exchanging stories and gaining meaningful insights into their daily lives. One parent openly shared the challenges of raising a child with special needs, highlighting the vital role organizations like Tender Hearts KL play in supporting both youths and their families.
The team also met Azri, a talented young artist who transforms his drawings into merchandise such as tote bags, pouches, and caps. Another inspiring youth, Hugo, shared how his keen sense of smell inspired him to create his own roll-on essential oils and soap bars. What made the visit truly memorable was witnessing the youths’ enthusiasm, creativity, and eagerness to learn and interact. Like everyone else, they are discovering their strengths and finding their way through life.
Seeing the patience, care, and dedication of Tender Hearts KL in guiding these youths towards independence was a touching reminder that everyone deserves an opportunity to grow and thrive.
For Jewel Cafe, the visit was more than a CSR initiative. It was a meaningful experience filled with warmth, compassion, and valuable life lessons.
