Breitling is a privately owned company founded in 1884 in Grenchen, Canton of Solothurn, Switzerland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recent years, the market has been flooded with replica Breitling watches which look very close to the real ones but worth only a fraction of the value and are far inferior in quality. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The logo is displayed in the upper center area of the watch\u2019s face. On a real Breitling watch, there\u2019s no white space within the logo, while fake ones do have a white space they\u2019re often not positioned with the same accuracy as the authentic ones. The real logo has a total of 5 splines on the wing. They don\u2019t extend all the way to the outer wing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The anchor from the logo should be separated from the wings. If there\u2019s no separation between the anchor and the wings, it\u2019s a replica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The majority of replicas use a black pin instead, making it really obvious to differentiate an\u00a0original Breitling watch\u00a0from a replica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
