If the laces is dirty, put them in the washing machine or replace them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Use either soft cloth or brush to remove any grime that may be stuck on the surface of the leather shoes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mix the warm water with the dish soap and dip the soft cloth\/brush into solution, wring it out and wipe all over the exterior surface of the shoe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Use another damp, clean cloth to wipe off the soap. Take clean towel and dry it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
To protect the leather from stains and to add shining effect, apply leather conditioner. The conditioner can be bought from leather shop and can be made by mixing 1 part of vinegar to 2 parts linseed oil. Let it sit on the leather at least for 15 minutes and then buff with soft clothes until the leather looks shining. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dry the shoes in the open air, but don’t dry the shoes by direct sun or heater. It may crack the leather. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dip a cotton swab in nail polish remover or rubbing alcohol and lightly blot the stain. Don\u2019t rub, or you could make the ink spread. Blot gently until the stain is gone. Wipe with a clean, damp cloth and dry with a towel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You can use toothpaste to clean leather. Squirt a dab of the non-gel sort on the scuffed area then rub with a soft cloth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mix equal parts of lemon juice and cream of tartar into a paste. Apply to stained area and let it sit for 30 minutes. Take a damp cloth to remove the paste. Lemon juice and cream of tartar have a mild bleaching effect, so only use this on light-colored leather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
